GitLab’s Survey Shows Developers View On AI As ‘Essential’ Despite Concerns

A recent survey by GitLab named, ‘The State of AI in Software Development’. In that survey, over 1,000 global senior technology executives, developers, and security and operations professionals discussed and opinions about AI.

The report reveals a complicated relationship between the adoption of AI and the concerns about Data privacy, future insecurity, Job hunting, etc.

 Alexander Johnston, Research Analyst in the Data, AI & Analytics Channel at 451 Research, a part of S&P Global Market Intelligence said, “Enterprises are seeking out platforms that allow them to harness the power of AI while addressing potential privacy and security risks”.

Almost 83% of survey reports show developers and many experts want AI implementation in daily life to pursue the next Gen-Future. On the other hand, there is 79% still worry about the dangerous result of AI dominating our society.

The concerns about Privacy and intellectual property, the Skill Gap Between Humans and AI, and a non-stopping creature that can do all tasks that humans can imagine with better efficiency and speed.
