A new report by Linkedin has found that Singapore workers are adopting Artificial Intelligence (AI) skills at the fastest pace in the world.
The report, which analyzed data from 25 other countries, found that the share of Linkedin members of Singapore with AI skills in their profiles grew 20 times from January 2016 to January 2023. This is significantly higher than the global average of eight times.
The report attributed Singapore a rapid adoption of AI skills to a number of factors, including the government’s strong support for AI development, the availability of high-quality Ai education, and the strong demand for AI skills in the workforce.
The report also found that Singapore is home to a number of leading Ai companies such as Grab, Sea, and Singtel. These companies are helping to drive the demand for AI skills in the workforce.
This report of Likedin is a positive sign for the future of Singapore’s economy. As AI becomes increasingly pervasive, workers with AI skills will be in high demand. Singapore is well-positioned to meet this demand, and it is likely to benefit from the economic opportunities that Ai created.
