Artificial Intelligence (AI) Schools have been started in Thiruvananthapuram Kerala. This is the first kind of tech-advanced school in the area.
The school’s name is Santhigiri Vidyabhavan. It was inaugurated by Ram Nath Kovind, who is the former President, last Tuesday. This school is a collaboration between Vedhik eSchool and USA (ILE). It aims to provide students with a more technologically advanced experience of education.
This school follows the standards that are set worldwide and then matches them up with the NSAS (National School Accreditation Standards) – which is based on the NEP 2020 (New National Education Policy. This school also offers tools, guidance, and resources that go way beyond the traditional form of teaching methods. It effectively prepares the students for the challenges that they might face in this rapidly evolving world.
However, as opposed to what some might speculate, this Artificial intelligence-driven school does not actually replace human teachers with AI chatbots. The school just leverages and implements the use of AI to make learning and teaching more advanced while still retaining the traditional roles of teaching.
