The Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers bargains on behalf of every Hollywood producer with the labor group. They released a six-page memo offering to the striking writers on data transparency, residuals, and AI.
During a meeting held between the Hollywood CEOs and the guild leadership, The Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers had clarified its stand on the 11 August proposal to the Writers Guilds of America.
The striking writer’s group is proposing a ban on any kind of written material created by AI or artificial intelligence. On Tuesday night they revealed that they want a contract to provide quarterly reports about the SVOD view hours of each and every streaming project.
According to their statement, they want to end the strike so the AMPTP is ready to offer a 5% increase in wage rates to the WGA. They also offer a proposal that the Directors Guild OF America want earlier this year. AMPTP offers a 4% raise in the second year and a 3.5% raise during the third year.
